My Weekend in Photos | April 11, 2014

Hey there, Beautiful!!

I had such a jam-packed, fun-filled weekend this weekend so I wanted to share it with you!!! Starting from Friday until Sunday I've done so much walking, eating, laughing, talking, and taking photos. This weekend was somewhat special because I did lots of things that I don't normally do. That's the best thing about life sometimes: being able to spend time with the people you love while doing and trying new things. Check out my weekend below. So sorry for the photo quality, all of these photos are taken from my phone.

Don't worry, more beauty posts are coming!

On Friday, my best friend and I went to see Katt Williams at Baltimore's First Mariner Arena. We got food, had a drink or two, and sat back and laughed our butts off. After a long week of working, stress, and non-sense, it is such a beautiful thing to de-stress with a glass of wine and really great laughs.
I thought I loved Katt Williams before, but seeing him live made me love him more!
He is one of the funniest comedians I've ever watched.
I recommend going out to a comedy show at least once in your life, loves. It is so much fun!
Here are some photos of her and I...being ourselves.

Note: I did my eyebrows... Lol.
How are they?

On Saturday, I took my sister to Washington, DC to walk around the mall, see the Cherry Blossoms, and visit some of the Smithsonian Museums. Washington, DC is so beautiful this time of year. Especially on the days when it's sunny and 80 degrees.
Since Washington, DC is in our backyard, we've seen the monuments a million times.
We really wanted to check out the museums! She wanted to visit the Air and Space Museum and I wanted to visit the American History Museum. I am definitely my father's daughter when it comes to history. I am such a closet history buff!
I loved looking all of the items saved from the past and reading about our history. It's such an awesome experience. If you are looking for something to do this summer, come to DC!
It's such a beautiful city with so many things to do and see!

How beautiful is this wedding dress from 1764?!

Muhammad Ali's Boxing Gloves from 1974

Bob Dylan's Leather Jacket from 1965

I thought this was so cool!
How neat is it to be alive when history is made?!

I thought this was so beautiful.
It's a little girl's Korean dress.
It reminded me of my childhood and how my grandmother used to dress me up in traditional Korean dresses.

This camera captured the only known footage of the first plane hitting the North Tower of the WTC.

All of us girls know exactly what these are... :)

Okay... So, Lamb Chop was in the gift shop and I just had to snap a pic!
I loved Lamb Chop!!

DC is definitely a beautiful city...

You can always find something going on at The Mall.

Okay... I can't lie. The Air and Space Museum was SO boring for me.
BUT... I managed to snap a pic of this beautiful picture.

 Ahh... the Cherry Blossoms...

At one of the Cherry Blossom Festival Events was a demonstration during the Sakura Matsuri.
I didn't realize they were having an event that day so I just watched from the fence behind.
They completely blocked off 12th street for this event.
People were dressed in Kimonos, sandals, and some dressed as anime characters!
We saw people leaving with umbrellas and hats.
Check out what it is, here.

At the end of our trip, I closed out the day with my grandmother and her beautiful tree...

On Sunday, my mother, sister, and I headed out to this garden store/organic market and to the mall in Delaware. Since you all know what a mall looks like, I won't include photos of that.
However, I will include some of the beautiful things I saw at the garden portion of the store.

How cute is this little house!?

When I saw these from a far, I almost squealed for joy! I thought they were free cupcakes!
When I ran to the table, sadly, they were only decorations... :(
They looked and felt so real!!

How cute are these coffee and tea sets!?

 A Maryland Pillow.
You know I have to represent!

 Some cute and funny signs...

Two words.
Gummi. Mania.
