Review | Tutu Lipstick #21 from Born Pretty Store

Hey loves!

It's been such a long time since I've created a post for you all! Well, I'm back and ready to work again! :)

I've got a third and final review for you, ladies. Born Pretty Store sent me a few items to review and today I'll be reviewing a lipstick.

First, a little bit about Born Pretty Store:

"BPS Import & Export Co., Ltd was set up in 2010. Over the past three years, it has developed rapidly from a store merely selling nail art items to a shop mainly selling beauty items including nail art items and cosmetics, accessorizes, cell phone cases, etc.
The original inspiration of the name born pretty store comes from proverb “each woman is born pretty”. Combining the aim of providing beauty items to the female, we incorporated it into the name “born pretty”store. Bornprettystore is a store intended to provide each ordinary female, whoever they are, wherever they come from, with the latest fashion items of nail art, make up and outfit, helping them find the best way to dress up, which ultimately push outside their potential beauty to the fullest."

Now, on to the lipstick...

Note: Although this item was sent to me by, any and all opinions are 100% my own.

Tutu Lipstick, #21
How beautiful is this packaging?
This baby comes at you at a whopping $3.99. There are four other shades to choose from. Check them out, here. All five shades are perfect for Spring! There is a nude shade, three shades of pink, and an orange shade.

I was definitely nervous when I first received this in the mail because the bullet looked a little too bright for me. Although the bullet shows a bright coral, it swatches and applies as a bright pinky pink! As you can see below, the finish is glossy and extremely pigmented. It glides right on to the lips, which is great for a quick go-to lipstick if you're in a hurry.

This lipstick doesn't have much staying power. Lasting for a few hours before having to reapply. It does stain the lips a little bit, but that's okay with me. I like a little stain left on my lips, especially if it's a shade that blends in with the color of my lips.

In the look below, I wanted to turn down the pink since the look is smokey and neutral. To do that, I did a series of steps that are super easy. First, I covered my lips with Makeup Forever's 5 Camouflage Cream Palette concealer for fair to light tones. (You can use whatever concealer that you'd like for this) Then, I applied the lipstick and applied a lip gloss on top. In the photo below, I used Maybelline's Lip Elixir in Petal Plush.

Overall, I really love this lipstick. I love the packaging and the shade so much! If you're looking for an inexpensive, cute, and pigmented lipstick that has a glossy finish, this is the lippie for you!

For the eyes, I created a simple smokey eye with my Urban Decay's Naked Basics palette, Lancome Artliner in Noir, NYX Glossy Black eyeliner, and Lancome Hypnose Drama mascara. I filled in my brows with my Naked Basics in Faint and laid the hair flat with Anastasia Clear Brow Gel.
